Director Dave Meyers and EP/Producer Nathan Scherrer teamed up to create the visually stunning music video for Drake and 21 Savage’s Spin Bout U. The video was produced by Freenjoy and represented by Lark Creative.
In charge of bringing the directors vision to life was cinematographer Scott Cunningham, production designer Kai Boydel, service producer Rene Bastian, and line producer Lisa Ruffler. Working alongside them was production manager, Guido Fodale, to ensure everything ran smoothly on set.
The video features Drake and 21 Savage in a variety of stunning locations, dressed in outfits styled by Drew Ferguson and Fatima B. Lateef Abdullah was responsible for the models’ styling, providing an extra layer of detail to the already intricate visuals.
Nathan Rodgers was brought on as the editor, while Stefan Sonnenfeld handled the color grading. VFX supervisor Mário Dubec and UPP provided the visual effects for the video, adding an additional layer of depth to the stunning imagery.
Finally, sound mix was done by Benjamin Freer to give the audio an extra boost that would complement the impressive visuals.
