Rakuten TV Introduces 90 New Free Channels

Rakuten has launched the race for free internet broadcasts, announcing 90 free channels.

If you like free entertainment, you are going to be very happy. Rakuten TV, the platform for streaming content long ago, launched free content with ads that enable enjoy content in streaming without paying. Now, the company has chosen to launch no more than 90 live channels with the same concept.

You can watch these channels for free, but it is not video on demand, in which you can select which movie or series you want to see, but rather it works like television in the ephemerality of the content. These 90 channels are completely free, as they include ads, which make the content broadcast profitable. Disney + continues to release news, such as its STAR channel. If you sign up for the annual subscription, you will save the equivalent of two months compared to the monthly subscription.

These channels will not be launched simultaneously but will progressively, adding to the more than 42 European markets to which these channels will be reaching. However, not all channels may reach all countries for different reasons.

Right now, these channels are in beta, but they can already be enjoyed on some Samsung Smart TVs and LG TVs from 2020 and 2019. However, the company has confirmed to be working on making these channels compatible with more devices.
