Sam Kim – These Walls

Sam Kim – These Walls

I want the simple life
Like a dream but not made up kinda of vibe
I wanna choose to be free, what you do
My mom told me with a smile
You raise a son like you

And these walls don’t hold me
I’m not trapped in my head
No this frame don’t hold me
It don’t control me
I take over instead

I dream and sing about a better life
I can’t stand jammed up roads
Move out roll out the carpet out my way
Grandma says to ma
“He’s the same as his father so it must be hard for you”

Without deciding a color
My own way
My design
My art
My everything

What I dreamed of, that’s the lifestyle it is
What’s there to worry about?
Yeah I live to see a better life

I always wanted the simple life
Like a dream but not made up, a simple vibe
Doing whatever I want without a worry
If you wanna doi t, what you waiting for
I’m ready too

And I pray please, for peace of mind
Life on the beach
My heart wants to be as wide as the ocean
My wisdom like a sharp axe
The painting that I want is hanging on the wall
The life I sketched out, just like that
Snap a pic and frame it, looky
Just frame it, you know I always
I got the juice

We slow it down
Wait slow it down

Without deciding a color
My own way
My design
My art
My everything

What I dreamed of, that’s the lifestyle it is
What’s there to worry about?
Yeah I live to see a

I want the simple life

And these walls don’t hold me
